I'm a self-taught bridge player with good card sense — I grew up in a family of cardsharks. I know Standard American Yellow Card and its basic conventions — Jacoby transfers, Blackwood, Gerber — and am beginning to learn others.

looking for a steady partner for club and tournament play

I'd like to start playing against other, better, players with an eye toward becoming one myself. I'd like a steady partner to play with in bridge drives, bridge weekends, local tournaments and, eventually, regional, national, or even global events.

who lives near Schiphol Airport in the Netherlands

I live in Nieuw-Vennep, a town in the Haarlemmermeer region, about ten kilometers south of Schiphol Airport.

and doesn't mind driving (or likes public transportation)

I don't have a driver's license! (Insert sheepish blush here.) If transportation makes getting together laborious, we can practice together online instead, and meet up for drives and tournaments.
