About DAT
My name is Grayson Morris, both parts of English origin and together meaning "dark and swarthy son of the bailiff." Despite this manly appellation, I am a woman (and I get burnt just thinking about the sun). I am American and have called the Netherlands home since 2002. I currently live in the village of Nieuw Vennep in the Haarlemmermeer polder: surrounded by tulip fields, a stone's throw from Schiphol Airport and Amsterdam, and some twenty feet under sea level.
I'm a perfectionist with a passion for languages. Interacting with the written word is the most enjoyable work I can imagine.
Specialty Areas
I specialize in translating longer works of a personal, historical, or literary nature. I also have extensive experience translating marketing materials, websites, newspaper articles, and documents in the information technology sector.
